Tourist in Mississauga

Denim Jacket :: Gap     Shirt :: Aritzia     Pants :: Zara     Sandals :: Hudson's Bay     Bag :: Zara     Watch :: Nixon     Sunglasses :: Tory Burch similar

I used to live in Mississauga when I was younger for five years, near the time of middle school. I've had a few attachments to my older home and neighbourhood memories, but it's been so long, my knowledge of it and the local spots has dwindled. Originally, we made the 40 minute trip over from Markham to Mississauga because my boyfriend needed to pick something up. We're rarely in the West end of Toronto, and what did we decide to do while we're there?! I had to Google "things to do in Mississauga," haha because I had no idea. We ended up strolling around the Port Credit lake area, which was alright, nothing too breathtaking in my opinion. We then headed to the main mall, Square One, kudos for having a Chipotle (that stuff is too good). Luckily too, it was Ten Ren's anniversary celebration, so select bubble teas were 50% off. I LOVE drinking bubble tea, so when you can get bubble tea that taste as good as Ten Ren's for 3 bucks, that's amazing. Every time we go to Mississauga, it always seems we end up in the Square One area. Anyone know of what fun activities to do in Mississauga?! It wasn't a very exciting day, but it's something to do outside of the house!

Minimalist Chic with Zaful

( 1 )     Denim Dress     ( 2 )     Leather Backpack     ( 3 )     Printed Slip-Ons
( 4 )     Fringe Top     ( 5 )     Denim Skirt     ( 6 )     Linen Dress
( 7 )     Crossed Shirt     ( 8 )     Swan Shorts     ( 9 )     Leather Slippers

When I visit shopping sites, it can sometimes be difficult to find items that actually suit my style. Especially when there are thousands of items to view through, it can be alarming. Luckily, I was able to find many items I liked from fashion-retailer, Zaful. They offer everything you'd want in your wardrobe from trendy shirts, jewelry and shoes.
When you think of the minimalist style, it's usually very streamlined, and black and white. Although it's a nice style, I personally need some colour in my life, so my favourite approach is to go minimalist-chic. While including the look of clean structure, the "chic" portion adds a sort of elegance and feminine touch. You don't need to go searching for trendy printed tops to look stylish, it's all about simplicity and the little details. People tend to think they can't don this type of style because it requires spending an arm and fist load of money to achieve the clothing materials with perfect structure, but you can find these types of styles almost everywhere, including at Zaful. They have an affordable selection of clothes ranging from $5 to $40, and even free worldwide shipping! Not only is the minimalist-chic style an effortless look, you'll be satisfied to know these types of pieces can be worn multiple times because of the solid colours and simplicity, that it'll pretty much be a quick match for any outfit.
Thanks to Zaful for sponsoring this post!
If you enjoyed this post and are planning to shop at Zaful, I'd love for you to visit through my

Dresslink Summer Picks

Here are my summer picks and wishlist of items from DressLink! You won't believe the prices they sell for, which even resemble designer pieces! If you're looking for trendy, super affordable clothes, and don't mind the fact that it's mass produced in China (like many other things in the world), head on over to DressLink! They're actually one of my highly recommended online sites to shop on. I've ordered from here many times before and it's similar to SheInside, but A LOT cheaper for the exact same items. The only difference is probably the shipping rates and delivery time. I believe it goes by weight and can take up to a month to arrive, though at these prices, I don't mind! Don't be surprised too on the quality of their items because the prices do reflect the price for how they're made. I was very happy when I found out about DressLink a while back because they have a huge selection of clothes and accessories, and do I need to say again? The prices are BEYOND affordable! So I wanted to share with you guys a few of the many great items they offer!

1. Flared Dress on sale US$8.30
The neon colour of this dress definitely caught my eye. I love the simple structure of it and the way it beautifully flares out. Not only is it a dress that can be worn for special occasions, but even casually with some comfy flats!

2. Loose Hollow Out Top $5.30
This top is a great cheaper alternative to one similar to a designer version Olivia Palermo has worn before. The lace and floral details give it a feminine and darling feel. It would pair well with shorts or even plain jeans.

3. Classic Retro Sunglasses $5.99
Before, it was the silver-mirrored sunnies on trend, now things are becoming more colourful. Instead of something too standout like the reds and blues, a subtle rose-gold is a perfect choice.

4. Snacks-Printed Top $4.60
Because who wouldn't want to wear a shirt with food printed all over?!

5. Watermelon Satchel-Style Bag $4.17
To add a pop of colour to your outfit, this watermelon-coloured bag is simple in design yet easily practical.

6. Dog-Cat Flats $5.52
Is it Marc Jacobs that these flats are similar to? I don't remember which designer it is, but flats with faces are a cute accessory to have, especially for this low of a price!

7. Yellow Bag on sale $5.93
I love the light yellow shade of this bag. It's a cross-body, so it's easy to carry things around while adding a fun colour.

8. Floral Sleeveless Top $5.07
Perfect to wear during hot summer days because of how light-weight the material is and the fact that it's sleeveless. It's a lovely colour with muted florals all around.

9. Dragonfly Dress on sale $10.20
More with being stylish and comfortable, I love the dragonfly prints and the colours chosen for it.

The Statement

Necklace :: Happiness Boutique     Shirt :: Thrift Store     Jeans :: Gap     Sandals :: Dolce Vita similar

This week has definitely been the start of the heat wave, feeling like 35°C! Last summer, here in Canada, it didn't really feel like the appropriate hot summer. This time around, we finally have a chance to soak up the sun and enjoy the wondrous activities summer calls for. I know, I look a little pale, where have I been?! No, it's just the lighting from when the photos were taken because I really do have a tan!
I'm a huge fan of statement necklaces because they give an instant glam to your outfit. I'm surprised that I wear them more with my casual outfits than my more occasional ones. The juxtaposition of an outfit so simple with the pairing of an expensive-looking jewel equals the perfect combination. Happiness Boutique kindly offered me to choose from their selection of necklaces and I chose this piece because of the beautiful details and the vintage style of it. They have a great selection of statement necklaces and a whole variety of other products like clothing and accessories. Everything is quite affordable and what's even better is that they offer FREE worldwide shipping. Any online stores that offer this are always a plus in my books!
They have a reward program too you can join and earn points by spreading the word about their company. It's as simple as sharing through social media or writing reviews. I'm very pleased with the quality of this necklace and would highly recommend it to anyone to check out!
